Everytime I turn on the news it is full of the opposition to this conflict. They never show the other side of the coin: The people who support this effort to take a madman out of power. His political stand has always been anti-American. Do we really need to wait untill he actually has a nuclear weapon? Or how about when he figures out a way to drop in your backyard? Let's just forget the propaganda pictures we saw after the 9-11 attack from his country supporting the terrorist actions, that is of no consequence. His regime should have ended with the gulf war. And for those of you who like to say that we are the ones who armed him in the first place: Let's think about this for a minute. Everyone who protests this war was 3 years old during the 80's, they don't know a damn thing about cold war politics at that time. Hello! Russia was known as the USSR. A nuclear super-power trying to spread their communist ideals on their neighboring countries. So they armed up Iran to take control of their oil fields to fuel their war machine. What did the US do? We armed up Iraq, Iran's age old enemy from Biblical times to oppose the commy Irainian bastards. So, both countries were puppets in a global domination war. The US and the USSR fought a war without actually fighting. So, Saddam served his purpose, got too big for his britches, and now he needs to go before he does something stupid to back up all of the bullshit he has been filling his people with for the past 15 years. And now my soapbox is broken.
